

You would never see these creatures with the naked eye. So far my favorite pictures was some very tiny, I'll assume, fruit fly larvae crawling around a fungus patch on very black banana skin. Managed to get a magnified picture of the veins on my eye once. You can also hold the microscope by hand, but at high magnification, getting a steady shot may be a challenge. These came out very well, provided the microscope is secured well with the suction cup base and the item examined is not moved.

I've taken a number of pictures of small items, such as salt, a dead ant, a piece of string, etc. I plug in the microscope, then turn on the program to get a screen shot of whatever the microscope sees. Loading the software was a bit slow, but worked (might have been my computer too.Windows Vista laptop). For the price, it turned out to be a pretty cool product.
